HOW TO PLOW UNDER TREES, BUILDINGS ETC
We are going to give you the instructions for plowing under all your trees, buildings, flowers etc. This is a great way to maximise your farm to its fullest capacity!!
You can plow under trees, flowers, buildings and decorations so there is no need to put anything in storage and mess about bringing them back to your farm when it is done. Leave everything on your farm as it is. You may have to move things that don’t hide. For example....some decorations, like palm trees, with lights, can not be hid. These will be the only things that you have to move into storage for now.
At this point, I should mention that you cannot plow under waterways. If you have any lakes, ponds, rivers etc on your farm, then you will have to plow around them. To remove items such as the Semi and Oil Pumps, ensure that you also have "tools" hidden.
Go to your farm. Now go to the top right of your screen and you will see the six small icons in squares. You need to go to the one that looks like a spanner ( 4th one along). Turn of trees, flowers, buildings, facilities, tools, seasonal and decorations by unchecking each box and then click the green tick. Refresh your farm by clicking on play (top left, next to send gifts).
Go to the farm that you were working on, if you did not make it default before. You will now need to find a clear area (this means that you do need a small clear area on your farm). Plow one plot (field), in that clear area. Now with the bulldozer delete that one field/one plot. You should now be able to plow anywhere you like, which means that you will be plowing underneath your buildings, tree's etc.
As an alternative to plowing a plot and deleting: If you have an Oil Pump on your farm, then leave tools checked, so that it is not hid. You can then move the Oil Pump to a different area, and plow your first plots. Then proceed to move the Oil Pump back, and you should then be able to plow the rest of the farm.
When you have finished plowing, go to the spanner and turn back on trees, flowers, buildings and decorations by putting a check in each box. When it reloads you will see that you have plowed underneath your buildings etc.
Now you can seed, harvest and plow to your hearts content. The plowed fields will remain there until you decide to delete them.
If you are using the overlapping method and want to plow under trees etc, you must make sure that before you start overlapping each farm, plow one field/one plot and then delete it, (on each open tab) otherwise you won’t be able to plow your field and will get the red highlight when trying to place near or under hidden items.
