HOW TO PLOW A MODERN 4 TAB FARM
Firstly, you should make the farm you want to layer, your default farm, and ensure that all plowed fields have been deleted from the area you want to layer. Next, you should click on the "wrench" at the top of your farm, and remove the tick from "remove spaces from fields"
You will now need to open three more tabs, with Farm Town (which means you have 4 in total). Depending on which browser you have, will depend on how you can do this. Google Chrome is normally the best one, and you would then, simply right click on the play button, above where your coins are displayed, and a window will open. Click "open in new tab." Each time you do this, another Farm Town window will open on another tab. Go to each tab, and make sure you turn each one to OFFLINE.
Go to your first tab, and plow the entire farm (or just the specific area, if you don't intend to layer the whole farm). If you have the plowing tools, then use them, so that you get it done quicker. We recommend that you start from the top left corner and plow downwards. You don't have to do it this way, but with the spaces between squares, it does help you to make sure that each row you plow is right next to each other. The gaps in squares can make it hard to tell. Once you have plowed your farm, or the selected area, click on "save." Now go to tab 2.
Remember to start from the top left corner as you did on Tab 1. This is where it gets a little tricky to explain. You now have to move in from the left, two tiny spaces (just the size that 2 trees take). This time, we recommend that you continue to plow across your farm (left to right). Again it's not necessary, but we feel it helps to avoid mistakes. Start plowing from that point, and continue to plow the whole farm, or area. You will end up, with a tiny green line down the side of your farm. Then click "save" again.
Now go to tab 3. On this tab, you need to start in the top left corner again, but this time, you are going to move down from the top, two tiny spaces, and start to plow from that point. Again, you then continue to plow the rest of the farm or area. You will then end up with a tiny green line across the top of your farm. Then click "save" again. This time, we recommend that you continue to plow down your farm, from top to bottom, again as a way of making things easier. Once you have finished, click on "save"
Now go to tab 4. On this farm you are going to start in the top left corner again, but you are going to move 2 tiny spaces in from the left (as in tab 2), but you also have to drop down 2 tiny space from the top (as in tab 3). Again, you then continue to plow the rest of the farm or area. You will then end up with a tiny green line down the side of your farm, and a tiny green line across the top of your farm. Once you have finished, click on "save"
Close down, three of the tabs, and refresh your farm. Your farm should now be nicely plowed with the modern 4 tab pattern.
Finally, don't forget to go back to your wrench and put the tick back in the box of "remove spaces from fields"
