OVERFILLING ANIMAL SHEDS WITH ANIMALS IN YOUR GIFT BOX OR STORAGE (METHOD 2A)
Are you forever running out of the basic essentials such as cow's milk and hen eggs etc? Overfilling your animal sheds is a great way of increasing your supplies!
USING YOUR GIFT BOX TO OVERFILL
Using this method, you can overfill your Dairy Shed, Chicken Coop or Stable. You cannot use this method for your Wool Shed or Rabbit Hutch as the animals for these sheds, have to be purchased from the store, and as such, could never be in your gift box. To overfill using your Gift Box, just follow these simple instructions:
1. We will use a Dairy Shed as an example. Your shed does not need to be empty. Firstly, make the farm with the Dairy Shed that you want to overfill, your default farm. Find a neighbour that has a Dairy Shed on the same farm as you want to overfill - (for example: I want to fill my Dairy Shed on farm 1......so I will look for a neighbour who has a Dairy Shed on their farm 1)
2. Fill your gift box with animals (in this case Cow's and Goats). You can do this by either exchanging and collecting gifts that your friends have sent you, or you could use one of the Free Gifts sites, to send yourself as many as you want.
3. Reload your farm and go FULL SCREEN....when you have done that, tick the box where it says you have X amount of gifts. Your gift box will open and you should leave it open!
4. Click on the neighbour who has the dairy shed on the same farm as you and visit them. Make sure you are on their corresponding farm (i.e If the Dairy Shed is on Farm 1, then you will need to make sure that you are on their Farm 1, or that you go to their Farm 1). When you are there click 'STORE ALL'...then return to your farm. Open your Dairy Shed and you should see the increase in your animals!
**This method works for all giftable animals that produce something, which are - Cows, hens, pigs, horses, turkeys, goats, and geese. Simply follow the procedure above, for whatever animal shed you are wishing to overfill. **
You can keep doing this as often as you like. So, every time you get animals in our gift box, you can go to a neighbours farm and continue to put them in your sheds.

USING YOUR STORAGE TO OVERFILL
Using this method, you can overfill any animal shed. You use the same method as the overfilling with the Gift Box, only this time, you will be opening your storage. To overfill using this method, just follow these simple instructions.
1. We will use a Dairy Shed as an example. Your shed does not need to be empty. Firstly, make the farm with the Dairy Shed that you want to overfill, your default farm. Find a neighbour that has a Dairy Shed on the same farm as you want to overfill - (for example: I want to fill my Dairy Shed on farm 1......so I will look for a neighbour who has a Dairy Shed on their farm 1). You will also NEED to make sure that your neighbour has this farm as their default farm. If they do not, then you will need to ask them to make it their default farm for you.
2. Go full screen and open your storage. Click the items header and then click the drop down box, and click animals. This is very important as you do need to have your storage open to animals at this point.
3. For this next part, you have to be a bit quick. Click on the neighbour who has the dairy shed on the same farm as you and visit them. Before their farm loads, put your mouse on "move" in the box of the animal you wish to put into the shed. Keep your mouse on "MOVE". Once their farm has loaded, then click the "move" button. You MUST be on their corresponding farm (i.e If the Dairy Shed is on Farm 1, then you will need to make sure that you are on their Farm 1, this is why they have to make their farm "default" as you will not be able to navigate to another farm)
4. Close your storage and return to your farm. Open your Dairy Shed and you should see the increase in your animals!
PLEASE NOTE: During the September 2012 update we were given the new Farm Selector Manager, which enabled us to move our farms around. However, when you move your farms around, they will still retain their original identity. So, although a farm may be in the new postion of farm 2 (for example) moved from farm 15....the identity of the farm, will remain as farm 15.
This becomes a little confusing, when overfilling animal sheds, as your neighbour has to have a shed on the same farm as you. For example: If you need them to have an animal shed on farm 2, and they have , but it has been moved there, from a different location, the overfilling will not work. This is because, it will have retained its original identity. This is the "down" side to moving your farms around. You have to find a neighbour with an animal shed on the same farm (holding the same identity) , as the farm that you have your animal shed on.
